Great songs and jingles are something to sing about.

I’ve written and helped produce numerous advertising jingles over the years, many of them receiving various local and national awards.  Being encouraged to write song lyrics, I gave it a go and achieved pleasing results. I acknowledge my musical mates in the mix and appreciate their valued input – Quentin Eyres, Rob Pippan, Sean Timms and Darren Mullan to name a few.

• Paramount Songs Nashville Directors Awards/contract offers for 6 songs. Writers’ Group offer to work in Nashville was not accepted due to commitments here. A past winner of “Best Demos” and included on Limited Edition CD “Catch a Rising Star”.
• Australian Songwriters Association 6 finalists in 2020. (Top 30 ASA lyrics). Many short listed entries prior to this.
• Ozheart National Song Competition 3^rd place with “In a Heartbeat”. (Unprecedented entries).
• Scala People’s Choice Winner with “Outta This World”. (Unprecedented entries).
• “Rise Up” was chosen as the theme song for a South Australian event supporting the mental health of our music industry. (Produced in collaboration with Rob Pippan).
• UK Songwriting Comp – “Rise Up” was a highly commended winner.  (Entrants from 80 countries).
• 24th Great American Song Contest “Rise Up” was Finalist in 2 categories: Pop and Lyrics. (Over 1800 entrants from 41 countries).
• SongU USA Spotlight Playlists – “Still Friends” (produced in collaboration with Darren Mullan) along with “Rise Up” were nominated.
• 25^th Great American Song Contest – Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting for “Outta This World”. Produced in collaboration with Sean Timms. “Rise Up” – A top Finalist in Pop Category. (Produced in collaboration with Rob Pippan – remixed by Sean Timms.) (Over 1800 entrants from 41 countries).
